“Doing Things the Slow Way” Our society puts a lot of value on maximizing speed and efficiency in all things. People are judged on their ability to make decisions and take action rapidly: the quickest, shortest route is the best and great amounts of capital are invested in ways to improve old systems by speeding them up. But what do we miss in our hurry to speed towards the END?
